ABSTRACT GUIDELINES FOR FREE PAPER / POSTER PRESENTATIONS

General Guidelines for submission of abstracts

1. An individual may submit a maximum of 2 abstracts.
2. We will acknowledge receipt of all abstracts submitted and provide a registration number for reference. If this is not advised to you within 3 working days please email: majmin@klvision2011.org.my
3. Presenting author of selected abstract, must register for the Conference.
4. Scheduling details for free paper and poster guidelines (poster size, font size etc) for the final preparation of accepted abstracts will be included with the notification of acceptance
5. The selection of abstracts will be done by the Organizing Committee, and their decisions are final.
6. Prizes will be given for the best 3 free paper presentation and 3 best posters.

Instructions for preparation of abstracts

1. Abstract must be submitted in English, typewritten in font size 11 point Arial (preferred)
2. TITLE must be brief, concise and in CAPITALS
3. MAIN AUTHOR and CO-AUTHORS – Type in your name and final degree as you want it to appear in the Programme
4. Please underline the PRESENTING AUTHOR’s name.
5. You need to state whether your study is to be presented as a free paper or poster. The decision of the organisers however, is final.
6. Text of the abstract must not exceed 300 words and be typed single-spaced, with only the left margin justified. Graph, tables and illustrations cannot be included in the abstract.
7. The abstract should contain the following :
• A statement of the objectives of the study
• A description of the methods used
• A summary of the results obtained
• A statement of the conclusions reached
